Local AI hardware, benchmarked honestly.
From anywhere in the world, the independent hardware reference for builders who run AI on their own machines.
Our Mission
Running AI on your own hardware should not require reading 40 Reddit threads, three GitHub issues, and a vendor whitepaper just to figure out whether the GPU you want will fit a 70B model.
We cut through that noise. MyAIHardware exists to be the single trustworthy reference for builders running AI locally, whether that's a $300 Jetson Nano, a used 3090 rig, or a quad-MI300X cluster.
We're newly launched (May 2026), founder-operated, and openly building in public. Our reviews disclose AI-assisted drafting and human editing. Our benchmarks cite their sources. Our affiliate links are tagged but never influence editorial.
Newly launched (May 2026)
We're at day one. No inflated readership claims, no fabricated review counts. What you see is what's actually here today, and we're building openly toward an in-house benchmark lab, a community submission tool, and regional editors worldwide.

Editorial Standards
The principles that guide every review and benchmark we publish
Editorial Independence
We accept no compensation from manufacturers for reviews or coverage. Editorial decisions are made independently, affiliate links never influence which products we cover or how we rank them.
Transparent Benchmarking
Today our benchmarks are curated from public sources (llama.cpp logs, vendor specs, MLPerf, community runs). Every number links back to its source. See /methodology for full disclosure.
Real-World Testing
We're building toward an in-house test lab (Q3 2026) running an identical prompt suite across llama.cpp + vLLM + MLX on consumer + workstation hardware.
AI-Assisted, Human-Edited
Drafts of explainers and database entries are assembled with AI assistance, but every published page is reviewed and edited by a human before going live. We disclose this openly.

How We Benchmark
Curated today, lab-tested tomorrow. See /methodology for full disclosure.
Source Curation
We aggregate published numbers from llama.cpp GitHub commits, vendor benchmarks, MLPerf Inference, Ollama community runs, and Phoronix tests.
Cross-Validation
Every data point is checked against at least two independent sources where possible. Single-source numbers are flagged as such.
Normalization
We normalize across quantization levels (Q4_K_M, Q5_K_M, FP16), context lengths, and inference engines (llama.cpp, vLLM, MLX) so comparisons are apples-to-apples.
Transparent Attribution
Every benchmark row carries a sourceNote, which run, which engine, what hardware. See /methodology for the full source list.
Community Submissions (Q3 2026)
We're launching an open-source ollama-bench CLI so anyone can submit reproducible benchmark runs from their own hardware.
In-House Lab (Q3 2026)
Target rig: RTX 4090, RTX 5090, MI300X, M4 Max, running an identical 50-prompt suite at fixed seed across multiple engines.
